Traveling to Ijen Sukamade Tour Package From Bali

Ijen Crater is the most an acidic crater lake that located at the top of Mount ijen, the deep of the lake is around  200 meters and the large of crater area is around 5,466 hectares. The Blue fire phenomena is main attraction in Mount Ijen, Blue fire can only be seen by human eye when there is no light, Therefore the ideal time to see blue fire is in the night.

Sukamade beach is  paradise of turtles, it is located in the south of Banyuwangi city. Sukamade Beach is one of the favorite tourist attractions in Meru Betiri National Park. Apart from panoramic views of the beach, the 52,626 hectare national park also has potential for other flora and fauna, such as Javanese eagles, leopards, bulls, padmosari flowers or rafflesia zollingeriana, and so on. Sukamade Beach is a turtle conservation area. There are four types of turtles that often land on Sukamade Beach to lay their eggs, namely the Green Turtle, Olive Ridley Turtle, Leatherback Turtle and Hawksbill Turtle.

Tour Program To Ijen Crater

Day 1 : Bali To Ijen Crater Tour

We will pick you up at your hote Bali around at 1 am  then we drive to Gilimanuk harbor that located  in western tip of Bali for about 4 hours ( depend on the location of your hotel ). Afterward we cross to Banyuwangi Pier in java island for about 1,5 hours by ferry. Arrive in Banyuwangi Pier , we will drive to hotel around ijen Crater, Arrive in hotel check in and rest.

Day 2 : Ijen Crater Blue fire Tour To Sukamade

At 1 am , we will drive to Ijen parking area, The journey will take around 1,5  hours driving by private car, on this road you will pass rain forest and many plantations which is one remaining raining forest in Java Island with many species of plants, big trees and giant ferns. We need around 1,5 hours for ascending the slope of mount ijen to reach peak of ijen crater and  along the path, you will enjoy the beauty of Ijen Mountain.

After reach peak of ijen crater, we will go down to the crater to see blue fire phenomena that we can see it during the night, the blue fire phenomena is caused by combustion of sulfuric gas, those gases emerge from cracks in the volcano at high pressure and temperature when they come in contact with the air , they ignite, sending flames up to 3 -5 meters

We can see the activities of sulfur miners who breaks rock of sulfur with simple tools and put in baskets of bamboo, they will go up to the reach peak of crater bring basket of bamboo that full of sulfur as much as 75 kg on their shoulder.

We can also enjoy beautiful green lake of sulfate that view reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls. After enjoy the beauty of ijen crater we walk down back to parking area and back to our hotel for breakfast, check out and the trip continue to sukamade homestay.

At 8 pm after having dinner we start go to the beach to see activities of turles lay their eggs in the beach then we back to home stay and rest

Day 3 : Sukamade Beach tour to Ketapang Harbor

At 6 am we go to the beach to release babies turtles to the ocean then we go to semi natural hatchery to see turtle born, We back to homestay for breakfast and check out.

We will drive to ketapang harbor and take you to your hotel in Bali

Day 1 : Bali to Ijen Hotel area

• 10:00 am : We will pick you up in Bali Island
• 10:00 – 02:00 : We drive to Gilimanuk Harbor that located in western part of Bali Island
• 02:00 – 03:00 : After arrive in Glimanuk Harbour we cross to Java island by ferry arund 1 hours
• 03:00 – 03:30 : Arrive in ketapang harbour , we continue drive to Ijen hotel
• 03:30 – 04:00 : Arrive in hotel check in and rest

Day 2 : Ijen Crater Tour to Sukamade Homestay

• 01:00                  : We drive to Ijen parking area
• 01:30 – 02:00  : Arrive in Ijen parking area
• 02:00 – 03:30  : We start climbing Ijen Mountain
• 03:30 -04:00   : After that we go down to the floor of the Crater to see Blue fire phenomena
• 04:30 – 05:00  : We can see the biggest mining of sulfur with activities of miners who break sulfur and bring it with basket of bamboo
• 05:00 – 6:30 pm : After enjoy beautiful green lake,sunrise and beautiful view we back to our car in parking area
• 06:30- 9:00 pm : We go back  to our hotel for breakfast
• 10:00 pm             : we check out and continue to Sukamade Beach
• 10:00–3:00 pm : we drive to Sukamade Homestay, arrive in homestay and rest
• 6:00 – 8:00 pm : Having breakfast with simple food
• 08:00 –                : go to the beach and observe the turtles lay their eggs in the beach
• After that we back to homestay for rest

Day 3 : Sukamade Beach tour to Bali Hotel     

• 06:00-7:00 am : we go to the beach to release babies turtles to the ocean
• 07:00-7:30 am : Continue to semi natural hatchery to see baby turtle born
• 7:00-8:00 am : We back to homestay for breakfast and check out
• 8:00-2:00 pm : We drive to Ketapang to cross Bali island
• 2:00 pm            : We will take you to Bali hotel
